PEU MULEAU 2014

Everything is sweetness with this Peu Muleau cuvée 2014. The attack of notes of strawberry jam, undergrowth and spices, a mid-palate without any harshness and menthol freshness at the back of the mouth. All softness and delicacy, the wine carries us all the way through a good meal.
A perfect accompaniment to a lovely roast pork with Vichy carrots.

Everything about this wine is dashing, crunchy, pure and mouth-watering. Nothing pretentious about this Peu Muleau 2015, which we would characterise, other than with the above adjectives, by its belonging undoubtedly to a Ligerian style.
The freshness of its vibrant aromas, notes of red fruits and red currants, white pepper, giving the greatest pleasure to the taste buds. Totally delicious. A sporty wine …… or not?
Accompaniment: Garlic sausage à la Mme Berniche, the village delicatessen. Because with pig everything is good!

GALICHETS 2011

From the very start, its nose fabulously enraptures the senses and the spirit. From plum to undergrowth, through to a wealth of spicy notes. Smooth and tender in the mouth, the ever-present tannins are completely resolved. Its menthol freshness, all silky and restrained, makes it absolutely delicious.
A wine to drink or to sip with a fillet of pork, with rich cream and traditional mustard.

GALICHETS 2017

Cabernet Franc enchantment. After a short half hour aeration, a nose which is rich and enveloping. In the mouth, a lot of tenderness and roundness, notes of cherries and black currants, aromas of meat and saltiness. Made for lovers of fine food, smooth and opulently delicate.
A perfect pairing with a lovely rib of veal accompanied by mushrooms from the Touraine caves.

GALICHETS 2015

Galichets 2015 offers us a sweet nose of red currants, raspberries and spices. In the mouth, the moreish sweetness of ripe fruits ally themselves perfectly with a menthol freshness – some bitterness gives it a long finish.
A vivid wine that would go well with Marengo veal.

GALICHETS 2014

The nose expresses the fullness of the vintage with notes of roses and spices. A beautiful sensuality, with already soft tannins and a beautiful freshness, a nose to be discovered and a wine that is ready to drink.
It goes very well with a Sunday roast chicken with homemade French fries.

The delicate touch of the attack in the mouth, the chalky tannins reveal all of its complex earthy aromas. A mishmash of the charms of black fruits, dry herbs, sleeping rose petals, of humus like a delicious invitation from the depths of the undergrowth.
Goes well with a braised beef cheek in casserole, Touraine mushrooms and sautéed onions.

BRETÊCHE 2015

An explosion of fruity deliciousness with very pure aromas of cherries, red currants and black currants. Of energy and great pleasure. A chalky and crunchy mouth effectively supported by lovely bitter and smoky notes. A wine that loudly proclaims where it comes from given a few hours in the carafe.
A very pleasurable accompaniment to a roast leg of lamb with spices and mashed potatoes.

BRETÊCHE 2014

The authenticity of a “a good glass of Breton” from Bourgueil so dear to Jean Carmet ! This native of Bourgueil would certainly have appreciated its heady red fruits, liquorice, spices and cocoa. The length of the bitterness and menthol freshness prolongs the delicate sweetness of the attack in the mouth. At the same time mouth-watering and alive.
Goes well with guinea fowl and cabbage.
